The Gower Initiative’s primary objective is to promote a better public understanding of economics and the policy space afforded by our monetary system for social and environmental justice.
We will achieve this through:
- Social media and a website which will target a wide cross-section of the public from journalists to politicians, educators and anyone else seeking to broaden their knowledge of how a modern monetary economy operates.
- Providing an entry-level that is accessible to those without any knowledge of economics as well as more in-depth commentary for those who wish to expand their understanding.
- Delivering up-to-date commentary on local, national and global events with a specific focus on their economic significance.
- Developing, over time, a nationwide network of supporters to facilitate a wider public outreach.
